2. What data we collect

Through this website we process the following categories of data:

  • Contact form data – name, email address, phone number and the text of your message, which you voluntarily provide.
  • Technical data when the form is submitted – your IP address and information about your browser/device (User-Agent), which are recorded together with the message in order to protect against abuse and unsolicited (spam) inquiries.
  • Server logs – on every visit the web server automatically records the IP address, date and time, the requested addresses (URLs) and the browser/device type. This data is used for security, diagnostics and the prevention of abuse.
  • Website analytics data (Google Analytics 4) – collected only if you have given your consent via the cookie banner (see Section 4).

3. Purposes and legal bases for processing

  • Responding to a contact-form inquiry – to get in touch with you and process your inquiry. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and/or your consent (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).
  • Website security and protection against abuse/spam – processing of IP address, User-Agent and server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining the security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analysis of website usage (Google Analytics 4) – to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

The processing of personal data of job candidates and employers within our recruitment/intermediary activity is governed by separate notices and agreements and is not the subject of this policy, which concerns the use of the website.

4. Cookies and Google Analytics 4

On your first visit, the site displays a consent banner through which you can accept or decline analytics cookies. Website analytics (Google Analytics 4) is activated only after your explicit consent. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie banner settings.

Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. for the session and the basic functioning of the site) are used without separate consent, as the site cannot operate correctly without them.

5. Recipients of the data

We do not sell your personal data. Access to it may be granted to:

  • The hosting provider on whose servers the website is located – as a processor acting on our behalf.
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC – with respect to Google Analytics 4 data, only where consent has been given.
  • Competent state authorities – where required by law.

6. International data transfers

When using Google Analytics 4, data may be transferred to servers outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in the USA). In such cases, the transfer takes place under safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Retention period

  • Contact-form inquiries – retained for the period necessary to process the inquiry and the subsequent communication. If no contractual or other legal relationship arises thereafter, the data is retained for up to 5 years after the end of the communication. If a contractual relationship arises on the basis of the inquiry, the data is retained for the term of the contract and for the statutory periods thereafter (e.g. under accounting, tax and labour legislation).
  • Server logs – retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.
  • Google Analytics 4 data – retained in accordance with the service settings and Google's policy.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • rectification of inaccurate data;
  • erasure of the data (the “right to be forgotten”);
  • restriction of processing;
  • object to the processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, you can contact us at office@global-tandem.com.
